I had a conversation with Timothy Sandefur on The Right to Earn a Living (Previous post here). This part of our discussion focuses on ways Americans are restricted from earning a living.
Part of our discussion centered around ways that the USA restricts citizens from earning a living. There are several that we discuss and in the first video we focus a lot on two key areas: historical restrictions based on race and gender and the minimum wage.
In this second video (below) we get into a deep discussion on an attempt to restrict unlicensed “blow dry bars”, where people could go to get their hair dried, featuring a couple outrageous clips from legal hearings in Arizona on the issue
